The lights at Didsbury are controlled by a 10-button pad. There’s one on the wall behind the PA desk and one on the wall just by the front of the stage, stage-left.
The lefthand 5 buttons control the ceiling lights, and the righthand 5 control the stage.
Our usual Sunday service settings are Left 3 and Right 3
To turn off the lights, press the red-lit button on the left and on the right.
Can’t get the lights to turn off?
This can happen if several different ‘scenes’ have been selected in turn. You’ll see that more than one button on the left and/or the right set is red. Don’t worry – there is a bug in the software, but we can still get the lights off.
- On the lefthand set of buttons, press each of the red-lit buttons in turn. When the last one has been changed from red to blue, the ceiling lights will turn off.
- On the righthand set of buttons, press each of the red-lit buttons in turn. When the last one has been changed from red to blue, the stage lights will turn off.
If this doesn’t work, and you just can’t get the lights to turn off, please send a message to Robert Varnam. If you’re leaving the building, it’s fine to leave the lights on, as they are relatively low power. Robert will be able to fix them later.
