Sound played on the visuals PC is sent to the mixer via the BMD HDMI output for the right monitor. It goes from the PC into the ATEM video switcher and then into the mixer. On the mixer, it’s labelled as “VISUALS”.
- On the PC:
- Is the volume muted? Look at the taskbar (bottom-right of screen). If the speaker icon has a cross , click it and then click the crossed-out icon at the left of the fader:
It will change to this: - Is the volume too low? Click the speaker icon in the taskbar (bottom-right of screen). Use the fader to take the volume up to 100.
- Is the correct output being used? Click the speaker icon in the taskbar (bottom-right of screen). Click the name at the top of the popup to select a different output.
2. On the mixer:
- Make sure something is playing on the PC.
- On the mixer, turn up the fader for VISUALS. If still no sound, check the fader for MASTER (far right).
- If you definitely have sound playing from the PC, the green lights on the VISUALS fader are not going up & down, move to the next step.
3. On the PC:
- Click the Windows start button, type “ATEM” then Enter.
